We collect personal and non-personal data. Personal data include your name, email-address and requested data sources. These data are collected directly from you during the registration process.
Upon accessing CountryRisk.io, your browser transmits certain data. This information is saved in log files and includes: used operating system, information about your web browser, referrer-URL (URL of your previously visited web page), hostname/IP-address and date and time of your access.
If you purchase a data license, we will process details about you as a customer (i.e. name of organisation and contact details) and payment details (i.e. bank account details or credit card details).
Personal data is collected when you register on CountryData.io. We use cookies to collect non-personal data. Cookies are small files placed on your computer, and these help us to improve the user experience such as the login requirement.
Functional cookies enable you to navigate our webpage and application and allow us to remember your preferences. This information is not used for any other purposes.
We use Vercel as hosting provider for this webpage. In addition, we use Digital Ocean for hosting our API and access credentials that include your contact details.
We do not, and will not, sell, rent, publish or share your data to any third party. Your data stays with us. The only exception is if we are forced by law to provide information to authorities.
We use Campaign Monitor for sending newsletters and updates about CountryData.io. Using Campaign Monitor requires that we upload your contact details, such as email-address, to Campaign Monitor's server.
